Corn

Corn is a vegatable.

Since when did it become something else. A starch, a grain, a whatever. Then is an apple a fruit or a sugar? Is corn a plant? It is a vegatable. And while we are on it, so are potatoes. Good ones at that.

And don’t give me any modern food pyramid arguments either. Those pyramids have all changed since I was a kid and everyone knows those have been taken over by crazed vegans and liberals. (And communists.) (Are their any conservative vegans?)

And don’t give me corn on the cob. I want to eat it with a spoon. Not get it all over my face, all over my hands (or have to use odd extra utensils jammed in the ends that may or may not be made to look like a pair of turkeys or something) and stuck all up in my teeth. Forget about it all together wearing braces.

In fact, give it to me cream style if you really want it to be good. Then chewing is even optional. Whatever is easiest.

Food shouldn’t be hard work.

Corn may be a vegetable but our bodies read it as sugar… and process it as sugar. Just like a starch. Same with most fruits.

ummm….I think food should be hard work. It would kill the obesity epidemic. I know I’d eat way less if I had to work for each bite. And as far as food all over your face and all up in your teeth…that’s funny.
